Last week, H. E. Thomas Oertle, Swiss Ambassador to Ghana, Togo and Benin came on board the Global Mercy in Tema, Ghana, learning more about Mercy Ships’ mission and work in the country. During his visit, he met with Delphina Kyeremateng (Mercy Ships Country Director in Ghana), our Swiss colleague Valérie Moser (Executive Assistant & Specialist Adivsor to CEO), and, among other crew members, our own Swiss volunteers.
H.E. Thomas Oertle expressed his thoughts of admiration towards the crew: “It was deeply inspiring to witness the dedication and compassion of volunteers, including Swiss citizens, generously sharing their time, skills and expertise to serve others.”
