About us

Family with 4 children searching
a way to live, to give, to grow.

One of our son was really sick as a baby, he wouldn’t have survived
in many other countries. We had to be strong as a family.

We were family centered during almost 2 years… we had to!

On one side, we want to live a family project again, but a voluntary one this time. On the other side we want to share to people who don’t have as many chance as we had. Writing those words, i realize that it will also be for 2 years : nice coincidence !

This is how our project was born.

During Spring 2025, Philippe already went 2 weeks on the AfricaMercy as anesthesia provider. The Swiss TV (RTS) made a reporting on those 2 weeks in which you can discover a little bit of our family and how the ship looks like

Our family crest, what we strive to live : a team where everybody as his place and is important (like rugby), the right direction (a nod to scouting), a promise kept, and an explosion of love like pop corns for those around us !

Blason de notre famille: une équipe, la bonne direction, la promesse, l'explosion d'amour.

Dad / Philippe

With my Scouting background, I’m eager to experience this adventure with my family: traveling, meeting people, helping, caring, sharing, and living in community.

Challenge: Working in a multicultural environment (on multiple levels : patients as well as colleagues) and supervising such a team will be a wonderful challenge for me!

I’m looking forward to living in a community and meeting new people as soon as I step out of my cabin. It will be a family adventure that will bring us together, before the children are too old. And especially to seeing families transformed by the healing of their loved ones, just as ours has been.

My biggest challenge right now will be feeling comfortable speaking English.

Noâm (2014)

I will enjoy the pool, the beaches, computer gaming but also my teachers and making new friends and seeing them often, waking up later, discovering a new country and new cultures

My challenge will be speaking in English, and I hope I won’t get seasick.

I am looking forward to living on a boat and doing activities on board.

I’m afraid I’ll miss my friends.

Mahé (2019)

I will enjoy flying, playing on a trampoline and in the pool. Playing Minecraft but also looking through the porthole will be great ! I’m excited to have new friends too.

I think I will miss Nox (our cat), and I’m afraid of understanding nothing at school.

Nayah-Lou (2022) (and Anna, the sister of Elsa from « Frozen »)

I’m looking forward to trampolining with my brothers, sleeping in a bunk bed, and having braids.

I’m a little worried about the shots (vaccines) because it’s painful. Perhaps Dad could do they when I’m asleep ?
